French Country Chic Dresser

This dresser started off as a nothing special dresser, actually pretty ugly in person, but as usual this girl had a vision!!!

I have come back months later thinking I had already written what paint mixture I used and I realize now I didn't. So I am going to give a guess I know I used Annie Sloan French Linen and Old white. and I am thinking the ratio is 2 parts old white to 1 part French Linen.

A lot of tedious trimming with the paint brush, but I am thinking now it was worth it. And hey who doesn't like a little dressing up with some stencils!

The edges of the drawers are trimmed out in French Linen

Hours of tedious painting and sanding and waxing
And it is Done!!!

Playful Occasional Table

This table is stained in a very ugly color, kind of a greenish brown, but it has great detail and has lots of potential. I am going to start by painting it white as a base color, and then I am going to be accentuating the details with many different colors. It is going to take a lot of patience, and small paint brushes, but I am excited to see it finished. It will very different than anything I have painted so far, but it is going to be a charmer when done!

Here comes the playful part! I added layers of grey, green, and blue over some of the white, to give it a more fun and playful look.

Sweetheart Table

I am calling this my Sweetheart Table, it has a cute carved heart in the details of the table.

Here is the first coat of white, I will be adding more color, I am thinking some detail in French Linen.

A lot of painting and sanding, but here is the
Finished table
